Now, we come to the bread and butter of what this is all about, the cream of the crop…or rather the lovely brides and grooms who have let me into their special days. Get stuck into these beauties and lose yourself in imagining how your day will end up looking on film. It’ll turn out pretty sweet if you ask me!
Rachael & Josh.
Rachael and Josh became husband and wife in the beautiful surroundings of Owen House Wedding Barn in Knutsford. The new Mr and Mrs Mackie treated their guests to a day full of love, fun and amazing music whilst I got to enjoy the endless amounts of gorgeous backdrops to capture them basking in newlywed bliss!
Becki & Chris.
Becki and Chris invited me up to the Wirral to capture the day they officially became ‘The Pickos’ in a fun-filled family celebration. They married in a traditional church ceremony before heading up the road to Church Farm to drink and dance into the night in a gorgeous boho tipi setting offering spectacular views of the Irish Sea:
“We used VideoLou to capture our wedding and I cannot tell you how happy we are! We had a Skype call with Lou before the wedding to go over a few things and seeing and chatting to Lou really made both myself and my ‘husband’ feel at ease. On the wedding day I didn’t even realise Lou was there and all our guests said the same. If you want unobtrusive then Lou is the videographer for you.
Within a few days of our wedding we had some clips back and then we got our highlights video which makes me cry happy tears every time I watch it. All our friends and family keep commenting on how wonderful it is too – you can’t just watch it once!
If like us you’re unsure whether you want a videographer at your wedding, let me assure you that you do. It was one of the best decisions we made and I cannot recommend Video Lou highly enough.”
Michelle & Wayne.
Michelle and Wayne hosted their special day at Aston Marina in Stone, a pocket of Staffordshire that is very close to my heart (and very beautiful too if I do say so myself!). The new Mr & Mrs Lamond were treated to glorious summer weather, meaning they could exchange vows in an intimate outdoor ceremony, before basking in the sun by the waterside with their nearest and dearest to celebrate their new-found marital status (with some pretty special dancing by Wayne into the evening!):
Charlotte & Graham.
Charlotte and Graham married in a traditional church ceremony (I just LOVE Graham’s face when Charlotte reaches him at the top of the aisle – a m a zing!) before bussing their guests off to celebrate in the beautiful surroundings of Priory Cottages and Barns in Wetherby. This one is an absolute corker:
“Lou and Adam filmed our wedding for us in April and we couldn’t be happy with the results. They’re a fantastic pair and hugely talented. Right from the point of booking Lou was super helpful and always quick to respond through to any amendments to the highlights. Nothing was too much for them and they’re such professionals. I couldn’t recommend them enough, thank you so much for everything!”
Angela & Richey.
Angela and Richey’s unique peacock and literature themed wedding took place at Highbury Hall in Birmingham, a place dear to the bride’s heart. I do love a personal touch! Here’s their feature film and highlights reel:
Lydia & Alan.
Lydia and Alan welcomed 2018 in the best possible way with a gorgeous New Year’s Eve celebration at Nunsmere Hall Hotel in Cheshire. It was pretty ‘perfect’ if you ask me 🙂
“Lou and Adam covered our wedding on New Year’s Eve and we were so delighted with what they captured – I have to stop myself watching on a daily basis! In fact, we were so impressed that one of our friends has already booked them for her own wedding.
Lou thinks of all the little details, right down to the popcorn she delivers the final footage with! She is thorough in the planning so on the day you literally don’t even notice they are there and above all she’s just really lovely to have around.
As someone who initially wasn’t sure if I needed a videograph
Chris & Charlotte.
Chris and Charlotte’s two black hearts became one in their gothic-inspired wedding on September 21st 2017. They exchanged vows in Newark, Nottinghamshire before hosting a ‘Til Death Do Us Party’ in a tipi on Inkersall Grange Farm…and it totally rocked (yes, I did just go there)!
“Lou covered our wedding day and what she produced was so entirely magical, I watched it four times in a row and couldn’t stop crying. Then watched it some more. She’s super lovely, her work is awesome and I honestly could not recommend her enough x”
